Day 1:Transfer from Van Airport to Hotel

Welcome dinner at a local restaurant, Our guide will brief you about Mount Suphan and Mount Ararat tour.

Our guide will explain the equipment list for Mount Suphan tour and check your equipment.

Accommodation Van center.

Day 2:Transfer from hotel to Mount Süphan

Have breakfast at the hotel in the morning and get ready for the Mount Süphan tour.

Transfer from Van to Süphan campsite (2 hours 30 minutes)

The Mount Süphan adventure starts from the town of Kışkınlı at the foot of the mountain.

Day 3 Mount Süphan Summit Climb and Transfer to Doğubeyazıt

Early breakfast for Mount Süphan climb (03-04:00)

Don’t forget to take lunch and water with you

Summit climb (6-7 hours)

Enjoy the wonderful view of Lake Van at the summit of Mount Süphan.

Return to the campsite (2-3 hours)

Pack up your tents and deliver them to our team members.

Transfer to Doğubeyazıt (2.5 hours)

Day 4: Transfer to Mount Ararat Base Camp

Open buffet breakfast at the hotel in the morning (8:00) Meet your Mount Ararat hiking guide at the hotel (9:00)

Take snacks and water with you for the Mount Ararat hike

We will reach Mount Ararat base camp in 4-5 hours, tea, coffee, cold drinks and snacks will be ready for us at the base camp

We will set up our tents together. Free time (opportunity to explore the surroundings, learn Kurdish dances)

Dinner at tables set up outside accompanied by the magnificent Mount Ararat sunset

In the evening, accommodation in a tent under the stars at Mount Ararat base camp.

Day 5: Climbing to Ararat Camp 2

Before breakfast, prepare your luggage and tents for the transfer to Camp 2 (4200 m) with mules and hand them over to our teammates.

Start the day well with a delicious breakfast at the Ararat base camp.

After breakfast, start our climb to Camp 2 (4200 m)

The climb is approximately 4-5 hours and the distance is 6.5 km

When you arrive at the second camp, tea, coffee, fruit plate and snacks will be ready for you.

Dinner at 17:00, after dinner, our guide will give information about the summit route of Mount Ararat.

Our guide will check your equipment required for climbing Mount Ararat and give information about the use of the equipment (e.g. crampons, shoes, trekking poles, headlamps)

Have an early dinner around 17:00 and go to bed early because you will wake up early.

Day 6: Climbing to Ararat Peak

Our guide will wake you up before dawn for a different night breakfast than the typical breakfast time of 00:00-1:00. Have your breakfast and take lunch and hot water or tea in a thermos with you.

(The reason why Mount Ararat trekking companies depart at 1:00 at night is that the weather and ground conditions are more suitable for climbing. To watch the sunrise of Mount Ararat and to see its shadow that resembles a pyramid.)

From the 5137 m Mount Ararat summit, if the weather is clear, you will see the fascinating view of Türkiye, Iran and Armenia.

After the summit, rest for 1-2 hours at the second camp

We will collect our tents and luggage and they will be transferred to Camp 1 by our teammates

We will descend to Mount Ararat base camp (2 hours)

Overnight stay in a tent at Mount Ararat base camp.

Day 7: Transfer to Doğubayazıt

After completing our Mount Ararat tour, we have breakfast at 8:00 in the morning and go down to Çevirme village at 9:00 (2-3 hours) and transfer to Doğubayazıt

We take a shower and rest at the hotel in Doğubayazıt.

We visit the 17th century İshak Pasha Palace

A celebratory dinner at a local restaurant and a certificate of completion of the climb

Day 8: Transfer from Doğubayazıt to the Airport

After breakfast, transfer to the Domestic Airport (Van/Ağrı/Iğdır)

Say goodbye to our guide and return home with wonderful memories of the Mount Ararat adventure.
