Join a unique 7-day adventure on the southern route of Iran’s legendary Mount Damavand; discover the pride of reaching the summit and the unique beauty of nature!

Day 1: Airport pick-up and sightseeing in Tehran

Meet our guide at Tehran International Airport (Imam Khomeini International Airport) for the Damavand Mountain hiking tour

Check in at the hotel and do some sightseeing in Tehran (depending on your arrival time)

Welcome dinner at a local restaurant (Persian local cuisine)

Our guide will give a briefing about the Iran Damavand Mountain climbing program and check the equipment for the Damavand Mountain summit tour

Overnight stay at the hotel in Tehran

Day 2: Transfer to Rineh Village and Adaptation Walk

After breakfast, transfer to Rineh village at the foot of Mount Damavand (2000 m) for Damavand climbing expedition

We will stay at Damavand Mountain base camp, have some drinks and have lunch here

We will start the adaptation walk around the campsite to help your body adapt to the altitude

We will have dinner at Damavand Mountain base camp and have a short briefing for Damavand summit tour

Day 3: Departure to Bargah Sevom Camp

After breakfast, transfer to the starting point (3050 m) by jeep for Damavand Mountain hiking tour

We will start our climb to Bargah Sevom Camp (4200m, 5-6 hours walking) Our luggage will be transferred to the camp by our teammates.

We will set up our tents together. Free time in the afternoon, you can explore the landscape

Have dinner and get a short briefing for the Damavand volcano hike.

Day 4: Acclimatization hike and Return to Bargah Sevom Camp

To help your body properly adapt to the altitude before starting the Damavand climb, Iran, after breakfast, we will take lunch and hike to 4800-5000 m

We will stay at 4800-5000m altitude for 30-60 minutes during the acclimatization hike, take photos, explore the wild flowers and volcanic landscape

Return to Bargah Sevom Camp and rest, free time in the afternoon

Before dinner, our guide will check your equipment for the Damavand climbing expedition (e.g. shoes, trekking poles, headlamps)

Have an early dinner around 17:00 and go to bed early

Day 5: Ascent to the Summit and Return to Bargah Sevom Camp

Have an early breakfast around 02:00 for the Damavand Summit tour, take lunch with you

Until you reach the summit of Mount Damavand We will climb for 5-7 hours. (Be careful of the sulphur fumes.)

At the summit of Damavand 5671m, we will enjoy the magnificent view of Damavand crater. Take photos and recharge our batteries.

After the summit, we will descend to Bargah Sevom Camp

We will have dinner and celebrate our success

Day 6: Transfer from Damavand Mountain to Tehran

After breakfast, we will go down to the starting point where the jeeps are waiting for us.

Transfer to Rineh Village

If we have time, we can take a quick dip in a hot spring on the way.

We will pack our bags and head from Rineh to Tehran

Check in and rest at the hotel in Tehran

Celebration dinner for the Iranian Damavand climb at a local restaurant

Overnight at a hotel in Tehran

Day 7: Transfer from Tehran to the Airport

After breakfast, transfer to Imam Khomeini International Airport

Wait goodbye to our guide and return home with wonderful memories of the Damavand summit tour
