Walk through the fascinating nature of Kaçkar Mountains for five days, reach high peaks and discover the unique views of the Black Sea!

Day 1: From Airport to Çamlıhemşin

Meet our guide at Rize Airport for Kaçkar Mountains Tour (flight before 11:00 am is preferred)

Transfer from Rize to Çamlıhemşin (1 hour).

Check in to our hotel in Çamlıhemşin and rest

Have a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. (Local Black Sea Region food)

Our guide will give a program briefing for Kaçkar Mountains Tour and check the equipment for Kaçkar Mountain hiking

Overnight stay at Patika Pansiyon (Çamlıhemşin)

Day 2: Explore Zil Castle, Palovit Waterfall and Makrevis

After breakfast, visit the historical sites at the foothills of the Kaçkar Mountains (Zil Castle, Palovit Waterfall, Çinçiva Village and Makrevis Village where we will have lunch

In the afternoon, we will walk to the village of Makrevis and discover its beautiful wooden houses

We will return to our hotel and rest.

Dinner at the hotel (18:00)

Our guide will give a short briefing for the Kaçkar Mountains Tour.

Overnight at Patika Pansiyon (Çamlıhemşin).

Day 3: Explore Trovit Plateau and hike to Yıldız Glacier Lake

After breakfast, we will drive for approximately 1.5 hours to Trovit Plateau and the starting point (2400 m, 11:00)

Take your packed lunch and hike to Yıldız Glacier Lake (2900 m)

You can swim in the icy lake and enjoy the scenery around the lake

Return to the starting point at 17:00 and transfer to Çamlıhemşin

Dinner (17:00)

You will stay overnight at Patika Pansiyon (Çamlıhemşin)

Day 4: Discover Pokut and Sal Plateaus

After breakfast, we will arrive at Pokut Plateau (2000 m) with a 1.5 hour drive and start walking through the forest (2 hours)

We will have a traditional lunch with local dishes at Pokut Plateau

We will take a short walk to Sal Plateau

We will return to our starting point at 17:00 and transfer to Çamlıhemşin

We will have dinner and receive a short briefing for tomorrow

We will stay overnight at Patika Pansiyon (Çamlıhemşin).

Day 5: Hike to Arhavi Mençuna Waterfall and Transfer to Airport

After breakfast, we will take a light walk of about 1 hour to Arhavi Mençuna Waterfall

We will have lunch at a wonderful fish restaurant and transfer to Rize airport

We will say goodbye to our guide and return home with memories of a wonderful Kaçkar Mountain adventure.
