Are you ready for an unforgettable climb under the shadow of glaciers, towards the oldest glaciers of Anatolia?

Day 1: From Airport to Yüksekova

Meet our guide at Van Airport or Yüksekova Airport for the Cilo Mountains hiking tour (morning flight is preferred) and go to our hotel in Yüksekova City Center (3 hours from Van, 20 minutes from Yüksekova)

Have a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Your guide will give a briefing about the Cilo Mountains hiking program and check the equipment for climbing Cilo Mountain

Overnight at the hotel (Yüksekova)

Day 2: Climbing to Horgedim Camp

Have an open buffet breakfast at the hotel before starting to climb Cilo Mountain

After breakfast, transfer to Serpel Plateau (2100 m – 2 hours) where Yeşiltaş village is located.

Start climbing to Horgedim Camp Area (2900 m, 4-5 hours walking)

Let’s set up our tents together at the camp area.

Dinner (17:00) and our guide will give a short briefing for tomorrow.

Overnight in tent (Horgedim Camp)

Day 3: Explore Trovit Plateau and hike to Yildiz Glacier Lake

Have an early breakfast (05:00) and take your lunch and water

Start climbing from Horgedim Plateau to Reşko Peak (4135m)

Enjoy the panoramic view of Cilo Mountains at Reşko Peak (4135m). Take 30-40 minutes of photos and recharge your batteries

The return to the campsite will take approximately 7-8 hours in total (8km round trip)

Have dinner and have a briefing for tomorrow

Overnight in a tent (Horgedim Camp)

Day 4: Descending to Serpel Plateau and transfer to Yüksekova

After breakfast, we will collect our tents and other equipment and start descending to Serpel Plateau where our vehicles are waiting (3-4 hour walk)

Transfer to Yüksekova (2 hour drive) and check into our hotel, rest and refresh ourselves

Celebration dinner and a short briefing for tomorrow

Overnight at the hotel (Yüksekova)

Day 5: Transfer to Airport

After breakfast, transfer to Van airport (3-hour drive) or Yüksekova airport (20-minute drive)

Say goodbye to our guide and return home with wonderful memories.
