Day 1: Transfer from Airport to Dogubayazit

Meet our Mount Ararat trekking guide at Domestic Airport (Van/Ağri/Iğdır) and set off for Doğubayazıt (1-2 hours).

 If you land at Van Ferit Melen Airport

-Van/Doğubeyazıt 180 km (2 hours 30 minutes)

The road is 18 meters high and 77 meters wide and named after the Ottoman sultan Murat IV. 

We will stop at Muradiye waterfall.

If you land at Iğdır Şehit Bülent Aydın Airport

Igdir/Dogubeyazit 55km (45-60 minutes)

Sip your hot or cold drink and enjoy the view of Mount Ararat in a small, cozy local caffe with our Mount Ararat Climbing Guide

105 km (1 hour 15 min) if you land at Ağrı Ahmedi Hani airport

Check in to our hotel in Dogubayazit and get some rest before a spectacular Mount Ararat adventure

Have a welcome dinner at a local restaurant and our guide will introduce the list of equipment needed for climbing Mount Ararat.

Our Mount Ararat trekking guide will give you a program briefing and do a final equipment check. In case of missing equipment, he/she will help you to rent Mount Ararat climbing equipment in Doğubeyazıt.

Day 2 Transfer from Dogubeyazit to Mount Ararat Camp Two (4200m)

Have an open buffet breakfast at our hotel at 8:00 in the morning before starting the Mount Ararat trip and meet your Mount Ararat hiking guide at 9:00 at the hotel and transfer to Cevirme village. Start your Mount Ararat adventure from Cevirme village

Take your lunch and water with you.

We will start climbing towards the second camp (4200) meters.

After a long hike on Mount Ararat (about 14 km / 9-10 hours walking) we reach the 2nd campsite and set up the tents together.

Tea, coffee and snacks will be ready for us at the campsite

Dinner (18:00), our guide will check the technical equipment and give information about the use of equipment (crampons, head lamp, baton)

Overnight stay at Mount Ararat second (4200) camp.

Day 3 Climbing from Mount Ararat Second Camp to Mount Ararat Summit

Our guide will wake you up a little earlier than sunrise 00:00-1:00 p.m. We will have breakfast in the evening, which is different from a typical breakfast Take hot water in a thermos, tea and snacks with us

We will set off for the summit climb of Mount Ararat at 1:00 am, which is the best time to climb Mount Ararat.

We will reach the summit after about 5 hours. If the weather is clear, we can see Armenia and Iran from the summit.

If you heed the warnings of our guide for a good and safe Mount Ararat climbing experience, you will be more likely to complete the Mount Ararat hiking tour.

We take photos at the summit and go back to the second camp 1-2 hours rest in the second camp

Transfer from Second Camp to Dogubeyazit

Celebration dinner at a local restaurant in the evening and certificate of completion of climbing Mount Ararat.

Overnight accommodation in Dogubeyazit Hotel.
